CRAZY JERRY'S

OUR STORY

In 1976 I made my first bottle of oyster, clam, and everything else hot sauce just to slurp oysters with. In 1988, an old buddy of mine asked me if I would make him some of the sauce for his small oyster-bar restaurant. Betty and I made 14 bottles, hand-wrote the labels, taped them to the bottles, and gave them to our friend. About four or five days later, David, our friend called and told us that we had a problem. Betty and I immediately thought "Crap, we've killed someone", but luckily the problem was that every bottle had been stolen off the tables, and David wanted to know if we would make him some more, which we did, with the same result - they were also stolen. It was then that I had the idea of starting our own sauce company, Betty just flat out told me that I was crazy. And that folks, is how we got our company name. We have been in business since January 1990, and we've had a lot of fun along the way thanks to our GREAT customers who became our friends.
